Our two and a half days of training will provide 17 hours of college-level instruction and introduce you to becoming a Beach Naturalist. Classes will be held at McCollum Park in Everett. A course fee of $20 is payable before the start of class to cover the cost of curriculum development and materials.

Statement of Commitment

If accepted into the Beach Naturalist program, I agree to do the following:

1. Volunteer and report at least 14 hours (minimum 4 events) in 2020 as a Beach Naturalist.
2. Attend all 17 hours of training for two and a half days.
3. Keep all fellow volunteer contact information confidential.
4. Communicate with staff or volunteers if I have to change or need to miss a volunteer shift I have assumed.
5. Model good beach etiquette in my actions on the beach.
6. Allow photos taken of me acting as a Beach Naturalist to be used for publicity or educational purposes.
